At Joy’s Dance Factory we offer a variety of dance classes for all ages and experience levels.

Whether your child is just beginning their dance journey or is looking to train more seriously, we have a class for them. Our programs include both recreational and competitive options, with sessional and full-year formats available to suit your family’s schedule. Students can explore styles such as Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acro, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and more—including Parent & Tot, Pre-School, and Combo Classes designed to introduce young dancers to the joy of movement in a fun and supportive environment.

Parent & Tot

(Ages 1-3)

This class offers a great introduction to dance with the comfort of having a parent or guardian present. Have a little one who isn’t quite ready to go to dance class alone ? This is the class for them!  Explore dance & movement through sing-along-songs all guided by one of our certified staff!

Pre-school Dance

(Ages 3-4)

Pre-school dance offers either 30-45 minutes class as an introduction to dance, music & movement. Children ages 3 & 4 learn basic dance steps, fun sing-along songs & play imaginative movement games. Coordination, fine motor skills, musicality & spatial awareness are just a few skills your child will strengthen & develop! Students will learn partner work & follow the leader with props to make the class even more fun! The session classes will have an in studio performance at the end of each session.

Combo Classes

(Ages 4-7)

Combo Classes have been proven great for 4 to 7 year olds. Each 45 or 60 minute class includes 2 types of dance-tap & ballet. The technique started in pre-school dance is developed further adding in steps & combinations specific to the different styles of dance. This class is fantastic for the dancer who isn’t sure which style they would like to pursue. Combo 1 sessions will have an in studio performance and combo 2/3 will perform in the yearend show.

Competition

What is competition or festival?

At Joy’s Dance Factory we offer a competitive program where the students are given the opportunity to travel to other cities and perform their routines for comments and feedback by adjudicators.  ​ Some routines are completed in class time, others are rehearsed on the weekends.  Intermediate and senior dancers are often given the opportunity to work with world renowned guest artists.

How do I get Involved?

If you are interested in joining our festival troupe please email Miss Joy an inquiry. Depending on age, years of experience and ability level she will design a program that will suit your child’s needs.

Why is it so fun?

It provides more opportunities for your child to perform in front of an audience. The time spent away allows for team bonding and encourages the development of strong friendships! Parents get to know the other families at the studio better and often spend time hanging out at the theatre, swimming in the pools and going out for celebratory dinners! Were a huge family 100+ members strong experiencing so many fantastic dance memories together!
